They sing traditional songs, perform dances, and share the unique heritage of this special part of Slovakia.

What makes Lanšper truly special is their intergenerational approach, which is organized into three distinct groups:

  • Lanšperáci: The men's singing group, who perform with passion and power.

  • Kukulénki: The women's singing group, whose name is the Záhorie dialect word for "cuckoo."

  • Konopásek: The children's folk group, who learn traditional games, rhymes, and songs.

The group's commitment to folklore extends beyond performance. They are the proud organizers of Frolova notečka, a folk festival held in honor of Florián Benkovič, a local musician and song collector from Závod.

Lanšper also has a special connection to Dom 1890, a beautifully restored traditional folk house in Závod.

Since their founding in 2016, Lanšper has been a prominent force in the folk scene, releasing two albums: Škoda ťa šuhajku (2018) and Frolove piesne (2024). They even appeared on the popular folk show Zem spieva.

Lanšper erweckt die Traditionen der Dörfer Závod, Moravský Svätý Ján und Sekule durch ihre fesselnden Darbietungen zum Leben. Ihre Musik ist ein wunderschöner Teppich, gewebt aus traditionellen Instrumenten wie Violine, Bratsche, Akkordeon und Kontrabass.
